A dental implant – a design imitating the shape of a tooth root which is made of biologically inert materials (titanium, zirconium and their alloys) and is placed into the jawbone.

There are two methods of dental implants procedure: classical and single-step. The classic version is used after two or more months from tooth extraction. After the implant has bonded with a jawbone (2-3 months in the lower jaw and 3-4 months in the upper jaw) held prosthetics: artificial root to wear a crown or bridge is installed.

In some cases, it is possible to carry out the so-called one-step (or rapid implantation) immediately after tooth extraction. If the anatomical conditions in the oral cavity allow then experts recommend it to patients as a priority method.
